I am happy to write a REALLY good review for the Exerpeutic folding exercise bike. I am 6'2'' @ 215 lbs with long legs and cycled quite bit before injuries and shedules became a bit too busy, so I do know a fair amount about bikes. I thought this might be more of a disposable bike, last a couple of years at best, be too wiggly, weak mechanics..that kind of thing, but quite the contrary, I am happily surprised by the quality of the entire product. The crafmanship of the Exerpeutic folding exercise bike is very good, the frame tubes are heavy steel with good welds, the seat is large enough to have an extended ride comfortably (probably the most comfortable stationary bike seat I've used including expensive gym bikes), the bike has a wide stable "footprint" when opened but is also light enough to move from room to room if needed (has wheels on the... The bike is light enough that one person can easily move it around the house, it's pretty quiet, all in all it is exactly what I was looking for. However one of the wires connecting the pedals to the computer was broken. I of course did not notice this until after I had assembled the bike. This broken wire means that the computer on the bike for tracking distance/time/etc is not functional. I e-mailed customer service for the bike's manufacturer the night the bike was delivered and I never heard anything back. I then called customer support the next day and they said they would ship out a replacement part. That was 9 days ago and the part has still not arrived. In addition to install this replacement part I will need to almost completely disassemble the bike and even open up parts that came completely assembled.Bottom line it is a nice bike and I like it a lot, I just wish it had not been...
